Welcome to the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Club of New England! We are a fully licensed AKC Club serving CT, MA, RI, VT, NH, and ME specifically; however we welcome and encourage members from other states and countries to join us - both in membership and at our events. We especially welcome junior members, and plan to have an extensive program to aid the future of our sport.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide New England NSDTR (toller) breeders with resources, events, education, and encourage them to get out there and try new things with their dog, while giving back to the dog community as a whole. We encourage breeding to the AKC Standard and promote the versatile toller.
We currently provide training days, seminars/educational opportunities, various AKC & NSDTRC (USA) events, a juniors program, rescue assistance, and breeder assistance. Charities that we have supported are Take the Lead, Toller Rescue Inc., and Canine Health Foundation - to name a few!
Our History
The NSDTRC-NE was founded officially in the spring of 2022 by a group of dedicated breeders and owners from all aspects of AKC. However, this club was build off the spirit of a group of breeders dedicated to education, event planning, and a comradery of working together to better the breed that goes back over 20 years in the region.
